Designer Nina Nikicio presents “Kenduri” for the fall and winter 2014-2015 collection of her namesake brand Nikicio. Loosely translated as loosely translated as a traditional get-together, “Kenduri” is Malaysian feast or gathering that proposes for this upcoming fall and winter season a collection that has been stripped bare of unnecessary details. It reduced to the prime pillars of fabric, tailoring, and the invisible structuring which have all been blended together and dignified. An elegant collection with all its simplicity and honesty, giving movement to the body and soothing the soul. In addition to the lookbook, Nikicio also appointed director Narya Abhimata and scriptwriter Lilian Ng to create a fashion film that reflects the collection. Watch the full film above.
