The latest collection sees adidas Originals again collaborate with Japanese label NEIGHBORHOOD on a collection of men’s apparel and footwear. Fusing the label’s signature casual aesthetic, with the Germany years of sportswear heritage, the result is a collection of items that reinvigorate the Originals archive whilst pay homage to the classic detailing which delivered the brand with the 3-stripes to iconic status.
NEIGHBORHOOD have recontextualised a number of classic Originals items which form the foundation of the range. The apparel collection is completed with a number of considered pieces including a cardigan and matching shirt in street-ready blue bandana print. Each garment is accented with co-branded details, such as buttons and embroidering. As for footwear, the Japanese label has chosen to highlight a vintage model popular with diehard fans of the brand. Bolstering the footwear offering are iterations of the Pro-model and ZX 500 OG, all receiving the signature bone-and-skulls treatment in black, gold, grey and marine blue, tonal hues echoed throughout the entire collection.
