Private cultural museum and part of the historical footsteps of TB Silalahi, TB Silalahi Center along with Citra Semesta Sinema are proud to present the official trailer for “ToBa Dreams”. For your information, this film is based on best selling novel with the same title and tells the story about Sergeant Tebe and how he takes care his family, especially the relationship with his eldest son named Ronggur. Things become complicated when Ronggur decided to move to Jakarta and fall in love with a woman of different religion named Andini. The story of Sergeant Tebe and his son will begins and ends in beauty village called Balige in Lake Toba. The film “ToBa Dreams” is directed by Benni Setiawan under executive producer TB Silalahi and Rizaludin Kurniawan. There are few famous Indonesian actors or actresses in this film, such as Vino G Bastian, Mathias Muchus, Marsha Timothy, Jajang C Noer, Haikal Kamil, and many more. For those of you who are willing to see the film, it will be available first across Indonesian on April 30th 2015.

Pleasantly situated on the south shores of the incredible Lake Toba, the TB Silalahi Center includes the Batak Museum and is a complex dedicated to the preservation of the cultural values of the indigenous ethnic population of North Sumatra. The complex itself is located in Silalahi Village, by the town of Balige, about 250 KM from Medan, capital of North Sumatera Province. The complex is established by and is named after the prominent Batak personality known as Tiopan Bernhard Silalahi. He has played an important role in North Sumatra’s and Indonesia’s history. He served as Minister for Government Bureaucratic Reform from 1993 to 1998. He is currently member of the President’s counseling board for Military and Defense. At the heart of the complex stands majesticly the Museum Batak with its modern design, highlighted with a composite aluminum exterior, conveying a futuristic feel to the traditional Gorga motives.
