Bali newest water sports attraction known as Bali Wake Park officially opened its doors to the public on April 2015. The exciting park is the newest addition to the world of water sports in Bali or Indonesia in general features a state-of-the-art full size cable system built around a five hectare lake located at Benoa Harbour. The venue is also geared to be the Island’s newest and most iconic 5-Star Water Sports and Recreational Resort Development, home to a new Mades Warung restaurant, a bar overlooking the action on the water, a retail pro shop, a spa, and heliport. The main lake itself has a full size cable system with eight carriers allowing up to eight riders to participate at one time. The full size cable system operates on adjustable speed settings serving as a fun filled activity for all ages and skill levels. Obstacles are strategically placed in the water for an optional challenge. Carriers become available when riders fall and lap limits are imposed during busy periods. A buggy pick-up service is available to return riders to the start dock.

Furthermore, beginners and children alike can learn on an easy two tower system that allows for one person to ride at a time. Expertly trained instructors offer individualized attention and coaching for those who are new to the sport. Advance riders can hone their skills on their bi-level pool gap, featuring four different obstacles connecting the two pools for endless combinations. Bali Wake Park is built along “green” objectives to rehabilitate the area and protect Bali’s fragile environmental state. Environmental responsibility is a key objective both in future construction plans and daily sustainability. And last but not least, Bali Wake Park in Benoa Harbor believes in a corporate and social responsibility to involve the local community and integrate them into the business infrastructure through employment and through sponsorship initiatives. Bali Wake Park hopes to produce world-class competitors and champions from the local youth community to represent Bali and Indonesia in future regional and World Competitions. For those of you who are willing to visit the recently opened Bali Wake Park, they are open daily from 9 in the morning to 8 at night. For more information please visit their official website.
