Netflix has affirmed that Black Mirror season four will be airing this Friday, December 29. Created by Charlie Brooker, this anthology television series is known for its troubling messages about our stifling infatuation to technology and ignominious glance into our future. The show has reached its third season on Netflix last year to widespread acclaim, even awarded with numerous Emmys in September 2017.
Black Mirror season four will comprise of six new episodes, namely ‘USS Callister’ which takes Black Mirror into space and the first ever black and white episode titled ‘Metalhead’. The series will delve deeper into the darker side of online dating in the ‘Hang the DJ’ episode. Actress Jodie Foster also directed one of the episodes titled ‘Arkangel’.
