Approaching its 53 years operating, the newspaper giant Kompas begins the year by modifying its interface. The changes aren’t necessarily major but they are significant. Aside from the stronger and more modern alterations of the font and layout, Kompas also now offers news summary on some of the notable stories. There is also the new navigation feature on the front page to direct the readers on various significant stories.
Despite the cosmetic changes, editor-in-chief of Kompas Budiman Tanuredjo ensures that Kompas will maintain its credibility, integrity, and its part as the polite watchdog. The changes are applicable both on the physical newspaper and digital newspaper which can be accessed through Kompas.id.
