The best-selling Indonesian film of 2014, Comic 8 finally presented its sequel “Comic 8 – Casino Kings” thorough its official Twitter account earlier this month. This is probably the first final footage by its director Anggy Umbara after previously shared a lot of behind the scenes photos featuring the cast and crew. For your information, the film “Comic 8 – Casino Kings” will be released under Falcon Pictures and has not been mentioned when the film will appear officially in theaters. Furthermore, the teaser trailer that is available above does not display much narrative, although it shows a lot of actors and actresses, including Pandji Pragiwaksono doing some kind of funny spoof similar to the film The Raid 2 Berandals. Along with it, you could also see some glorious action, from shooting, fights, explosive-blast, even a computer graphic giant crocodile shown throughout the trailer. This is certainly a proof that “Comic 8 – Casino Kings” will be much larger and more costly than the first film. For those of you who could not wait to see the rest of the film, it will be shown first across theaters in Indonesia on June or July 2015.
The official synopsis of “Comic 8 – Casino Kings” says that all of the secret agents of Comic 8 must run a new mission, which is to eradicate illegal gambling empire leader in Asia known as the King. This kind of action also involves many parties, ranging from the professional killer, bastards, gamblers, to Interpol. “Comic 8 – Casino Kings” could also be another blockbuster because it will showcase dozens of well-known actors, actresses, to local comedians.
