Good news for the fans, as they won’t have to wait too long to see the sequel to the 2016 R-rated action comedy. 20th Century Fox is rearranging the release dates for its roster of superhero movies, which advancing Deadpool 2 two weeks earlier than its original release date from June 1st to May 18th.

Aside from the returning characters including Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead, two significant presences have also been confirmed for the sequel: The cybernetic mutant Cable and the female mercenary with luck-manipulating ability Domino. Both new characters played substantial roles in the comics and are tightly connected to Deadpool. Not much is known about the plot so far, but expect it to no openerled real soon.
