Back in the early December, to be exact on December 2th 2014 male solo pop singer and rising star Tulus succeeded in presenting his second solo concert titled “Konser Gajah Tulus”. This event took place at Kartika Expo Center in Balai Kartini Central Jakarta. The concert successfully able to sell about four thousand tickets although it was not held on the weekend. Garam Productions and Musik Tulus Management, as the organizers opened the ticket booth starting at 6.30 in the afternoon and opened its main door right at 7 o’clock.
The man who successfully nominated in Anugerah Musik Indonesia and to be crowned as the best newcomer for Rookie Of The Year 2013 by Rolling Stone Indonesia, Tulus then opened his concert at 8 o’ clock with a memorable video that covers his music career for the past few years. Not long after that scene, few of the music members entered to the main stage, one-by-one, and into their position. Not long afterwards, the big man with soulful voice came to the stage and performed his first song entitled “Baru”. After that he continued and sang about 21 songs from both of his album, including “Sepatu”, “Sewindu”, “Diorama”, “Teman Hidup”, “Jatuh Cinta”, “Gajah”, “Bumerang”, “Bunga Tidur”, “Satu Hari di Bulan Juni”, “Lekas”, “Teman Pesta”, “Kisah Sebentar”, and many more.
Tulus who wear a dark suit that night also did not forget to greet and give surprises to ‘Teman Tulus’, the name that is used for his loyal fans. When he was singing in front of the festival class audience, he decided to invite a female artist and musician named Bonita for the song “Juwita Malam”. Just minutes after he done performing that song, he again presents the popular group music known as RAN to stage and sang their hit “Kita Bisa”. It was greeted loudly by the audience. The excitement grew larger when the other five musicians help him to sing “Lagu Untuk Matahari”, from Vidi Aldiano, Raisa, Endah N’ Rhesa, Bonita, and of course RAN. The concert which was lasted for more than 2 hours eventually closed with the appearance of his latest single called “Jangan Cintai Aku Apa Adanya”.
