Speakers for this press conference is Gary Evano Daniel as Chief Executive of Pop Up Market in 2015, Adryan Virghandie as Chairman of the Student Board S1 Prasetiya Mulya, Dr. Rudy Handoko as Head of Bachelor Degree STIE Prasetiya Mulya, Jagad Marcellino as a Project Officer in Relation, and Efrata from the Community Manager of Carousell Indonesia. Gary Evano Daniel explained in details about the background and purpose of the event, Pop Up Market 2015, which is to educate and experiential learning for local independent brands in Indonesia. For the visitors, they can enjoy and feel immediately a thematic market that is well curated with the theme of this year’s “Champs Elysees”. Then his speech is closed with a greeting to the supporters of the event, organizers, and sponsors involved. The second speech was delivered by the Chairman of the Student Board S1 Prasetiya Mulya, Adryan Virghandie. He tells about the history of Pop Up Market with his noble cause as to help young entrepreneurs. This event is a form of challenge for other young entrepreneurs to support the Indonesian economy in a way that is unique and creative.

The third speech was delivered by Dr. Rudy Handoko. According to him, Pop Up Market is a quite a long way program in terms of building a better Indonesia. “This event could one of the forms in which we can contribute to the country, because of the small success can deliver a bigger success in the future for many people”, he said. After the third response, Jagad Marcellino as the Project Officer in Relation explained some of the things that distinguishes Pop Up Market with other events. There are strategies implemented to make this event more interesting and unique. First is to hold an “Instameet” which is an event to bring together a lot of people who are active in social media. This kind of pre-event will add its own hype through words of mouth. Second, they added some information by lifting patron tenants who have high standards among the local brand as a role model. Last but not least is to create a collaboration between several local brand names such as Bluesville, VOYEJ, and Lolitattoo.

The speakers, Gary, Adryan, Dr. Rudy Handoko, and the Jagad are all agree that a focus on the goal is very crucial and important, especially when you educate a young businessman in Indonesia. This type of education will provide additional value not just to their businesses, but it also will increase their perspective and knowledge. Efrata as the official representation of Carousell Indonesia also gave her speech in this press conference.
