The official team of House The House Studio recently visited an initiative space with focus activities on exhibition and artist in residence programs called PLATFORM3 in order to announce the upcoming KEUKEN No.6 “Taste in Transit”. This is their second time of Surprise Stove which is an initiative gesture by ways of holding small live cooking sessions before the main event with invited chefs in public places. Specially cooked by experienced chefs in their field and then shared with every passersby for free as a preliminary promotion to KEUKEN main event. As for second event, it was part of a small gathering of friends and family yet of course, served with speciality food and drinks from Mei Suling, Jamie, and Ghia of ROTISELAI, Adi from Kedai Istimewa, and a set of dinning ware from Bandung based ceramic studio known as Kandura Studio. Surprise Stove is a pre-event for KEUKEN food festival by House The House. It is basically an event where they put a pop-up kitchen on a local event to promote the upcoming food festival. Every year, the creative team of House The House created two special Surprise Stove in order to gain more recognition. Last year they created two events, as for the first one it was part of their co-operation with MATOA Indonesia’s Jalak series launching party at UNKL347 Flagship Store on jalan Trunojoyo Bandung while the second one was at Pasar Seni Institut Teknologi Bandung band audition event at Taman Musik on jalan Belitung Bandung. KEUKEN itself is the largest food festival held ever in the City Hall of Bandung. This event was organized by House The House with the support from Ridwan Kamil, the Mayor of Bandung. Filled with various tennant and food trucks, KEUKEN had successfully bring the people together in their love of food.
