Joglo itself is a Javanese pyramid-like shaped roof structure that is originally constructed by terracotta roof tiles. The roof, particularly the rising central part of the roof is supported by four wooden columns based on the historic Javanese philosophy, saka guru. Despite the application of modern materials on the building such as glass walls and steel roof frames that support the dark brown roof shingle, Felandro Madjid, the head architect still maintains the abundant usage of natural-colored wood and red bricks on the premises to preserve the accustomed and cultural atmospheres of the building.
