Tiffany Haddish and Andy Serkis along with The Academy President John Bailey announced the nominations for 90th Annual Academy Awards this Tuesday from Samuel Goldwyn Theater, California. The announcement saw Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water as the groundbreaker with hefty 13 nominations followed by Christoper Nolan’s Dunkirk and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri by Martin McDonagh. On a different note, Greta Gerwig is the fifth woman throughout the history to be nominated in Directing category with her directorial debut Lady Bird and Mudbound‘s Rachel Morrison is the first woman to ever be drafted in the Cinematography.

Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel for the second time, the Academy Awards ceremony will air live on ABC on March 4th. See all nominees in 24 categories down below.
