
Chewing Sparkle is an Indonesian Indie Rock and Pop Alternative band from Jakarta, Indonesia consisting of Ryan as vocalist and guitar, Dheny as guitarist, Nably as bassist and backing vocal, and Hars as drummer and second backing vocal. The band was formed in the middle of 2012 and has often perform at various events in the Capital, ranging from cafes, colleges, schools, to the radio session. They often covered several international Indie scene songs such as Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Queen, to an English rock band that formed in Liverpool The Beatles. In the virtual world, they are fairly active in various social networks from Twitter, SoundCloud, to YouTube. Last night, Chewing Sparkle decided to released their first single dubbed “Far East” in digital format. The song was written by vocalist, Ryan and he said that the song tells about an imaginary world. Although he personally would love people who heard it have its own interpretation of the song.
