Frisson Entertainment Asia and an Indonesian electronic folk band based in Jakarta known as Matter Halo earlier this month officially released their first ever lyric video for “Travel”. This song is taken from their debut album, “Aerotiva” which was launched on May 15th 2015. The band comprises of two member Ibnu Dian Ganidra Rai. Ibnu plays guitar, mandolin and flute while Ganidra plays bass, synth-bass and act as backing-vocals. Having released first EP, Matter Halo have also achieved great success with their single, “Pure Affection”, which brings them to be played at huge local events such as Java Rockin’ Land Festival in 2010. Furthermore, the band is known for its unique genre, a aeronautical folk which is a kind of music that is conceived to invite its listener to dance and fly in the air. The frontman of Elephant Kind, Bam Mastro is also taking part as became their music producer.
As for the official lyric video for “Travel”, it is directed by Ibnu Dian, Giandra Raka, and animation by the founder of Maika Collective Studio, Satriya Gurnitha. In order to promote their album and this single, Matter Halo also created a visual campaign, in which they invite users or listeners to send their photos while traveling, through several social media called Aerotiva. It is created by a graphic designer and popular Instagrammer known as Ernanda Putra. The best twenty photos chosen by Matter Halo and Ernanda Putra later will go into the official music video for “Travel”. Their newest single “Travel” is written by Ibnu Dian at Edinburgh, composed by Ibnu Dian and Ganidra Rai, produced by Bam Mastro, recorded from hundreds of feet above Jakarta city, and mastered by Adhe Arrio at Double Deer, Jakarta.
