An independent record label based in Jakarta, Indonesia known as Demajors recently took their official YouTube channel to uploaded nice documentary of a music group known as Bonita and The Hus Band. Dubbed as “Be Nice To Each Other” Chapter One Tour, it is actually a local tour by the band that took place on February 2015. There were seven venues visited by the band and they performed their original songs, mostly from their latest album “Small Miracles” and also some covers. Intimate, fun, and joyful atmosphere are the main features for their live performance in each venues. Audiences could buy their latest album and also the merchandise. In this first chapter, Bonita and The Hus Band live performances were broadcasted online in collaboration with Zeemi.tv. They also invited their audiences to bring their old book and toys to the each venue to be donated to those in need, as part of their simple kindness, in line with their tour tag “Be Nice To Each Other”. They also presented fellow musicians to join to perform and collaborated in their performances. They were BubuGiri, Imada Hutagalung, and MarcoMarche. After the first chapter, they are willing to continue their tour to several cities in West Java or Bali.
In medio 2006, a band was formed by four musicians to accompany the vocalist—Bonita—in her live performances. Through the course of time, the band shrink into three members, such as Bonita, Adoy, and Bharata. But the musical and interpersonal bond between them grew more intense. Later the band decided to play not only Bonita’s songs but also do cover songs and their own composition as well. They decided to named the band as Bonita and The Hus Band. This three-member-band first international stage happened on April 2009 on Outdoor Theater, Esplanade in Singapore. They were invited to play on an event called “On the Waterfront”. While their first performance in Singapore receives a very warm response from the Singapore audience. Their CD titled “Volume-1 BNTHB” was sold out during their three days performance. On May 2009, Jimmy Tobing joined the band. His presence made them became more solid. With diverse musical experience between them, each member of the band enriched their musical skills by working together in Bonita and The Hus Band. At the present time, Bonita and The Hus Band is in the process of finishing up their tour of “Small Miracles” album.
