Do you still remember the lyrics of this song, “Jangan kau pergi dariku. Bila waktuku sedikit untukmu. Setiap hembusan nafasku kulakukan yang terbaik untukmu.” That is right, it is part of their biggest single back in early 200s called “Terbaik Untukmu” by the pop rock genre band TIC Band. The band is well know for its three major albums such as “Tidak Jelas” in 1999, “Terbaik Untukmu” in 2001, and “Suara Anak Adam” in 2003. After a long year of hiatus, they decided to become active again in the music industry of Indonesia with a new single called “Jika Cinta”. Nearly ten years, the band who is fronted by Oggie as vocalist, Hussein as guitarist, and Ryan as drummer disappeared from the Indonesia music scene. Oggie also mentioned about their comeback, “After a decade, we are able to comeback again and also introduce our latest single.”
Then what did actually happened to the band for the last ten years? His bandmate and Oggie stated that said they were actually still busy in local music scene although they are willing to appear as an artist on stage. Hussein later replied, “We are willing to live by making music. It seems that it is the right time for us comeback with another, hopefully, hit songs.” The Surabaya based band continues to believe that the characteristic of their music can still be sold and receive well by the Indonesian music industry or its listeners. Therefore, TIC Band did not change any of their music genre. As for their latest single “Jika Cinta”, it is now available to purchase online via various digital music store.
