This week, we will introduce five personalities who we think are worth to know and follow.

1. Renatta Moeloek
Chef and F&B Consultant

What are you doing lately?
Cooking at other people’s places while building my own place. I can cook for other people in.

Who’s your all-time favorite Indonesian IG account(s) and why?
I had to scroll over my list of followed accounts and honestly found none. I follow my friends, a lot of chefs and restaurants, everything that matters.

What’s your favorite place(s)?
This may sound too generic but, the mountains and the rice fields. Lembang, Bali, Jogja, Puncak, you name it. They’re all over the place and I like all of them.

What’s your favorite Indonesian local brand(s)?
I don’t have a favorite, mostly it’s different items from different vendors or artists, and not necessarily a brand too! May be like Shopatvelvet, KIVEE, Day And Night. Actually I am monochrome girl. Most of my outfits are black, grey, and dark blue hehehe.

Do you have a second account on your social media? If yes, what’s the use?
No.

2. Shabrina Tenri Adjani Pangerang a.k.a. Sasha Pangerang

Mostly enjoying work by creating contents for my program, Morning Squad at Mustang FM. Besides that, I go travelling and shopping to pamper myself once in a while. OH and exploring Instagram!

Who’s your all-time favorite Indonesian IG account(s) and why?
There is a lot actually. First is @mustang88fm just because I made some of the contents. Then, @jenniferbachdim cause her life looks perfect, definitely a life goals, @got.my.size to binge on the dope sneakers, and @creativedisc for my daily dose of music news and updates.

What’s your favorite place(s)?
Inside my car, my room, and Bandung. I usually like being alone in my car and my room, just going through my phone and I always find something refreshing in Bandung. Whether it is a new place or new atmosphere.

What’s your favorite Indonesian local brand(s)?
Hmm, Oldblue Co. I think because my brother works there. The Goods Dept.’s women sections are also great and don’t even start with local makeup brands, they are so great! Wardah, Make Over, BLP, Dear Me, and Rollover Reaction.

Do you have a second account on your social media? If yes, what’s the use?
Haha I used to have one. It was a joint account with my best friends to lurk around in social media. But, I erased it because it isn;’t healthy.

3. Azcha Ervian Permana Putra a.k.a. Azcha Tobing
Freelance Photographer & Art Director

What are you doing lately?
Lately, I’ve been working at one of creative agencies in Jakarta as Art director. It’s a new experience for me anyway, to be in an established company, working by office hours, stuffs like that. But it’s exciting. Also, I still do freelance photoshoot in my free time.

Who’s your all-time favorite Indonesian IG account(s) and why?
One of my best friends, @sicknessmp. Our friendship dates back to elementary, but we lost contact since high school until I found out he got into jail from mutual friends. Nonetheless, he managed to get out of the unfortunate circumstance and released his first vinyl album in 2017. Please check his music out.

What’s your favorite place(s)?
Pacitan, East Java. It’s my hometown, born and raised there. For me, it is the place to witness many God’s greatest creations. There are mountains, beaches, caves, and many incredible sites. I find my work inspirations there.

What’s your favorite Indonesian local brand(s)?
Untold and Elders Company. Untold has always been one of my biggest support systems, which resulted in our collaboration exhibition and collection, ‘Photography Is Not A Crime’. I have worked with Elders in 2016 and I really admire their history, concept, and most importantly support from them. These local brands as well as some other brands which I can’t mention all in here have their parts in bringing me to my position right now. Big thanks. #LocalPride.

Do you have a second account on your social media? If yes, what’s the use?
I have, which is dedicated for my upcoming fashion brand, @nathanavelyne.

Who’s your all-time favorite Indonesian IG account(s) and why?
@pizza__place. The pizza is amazing and I like the vibe they set up, everything is on point.

What’s your favorite place(s)?
Fish Streat. Real food for the people, they can care less about the interior and gimmick, they just want to sell affordable fish and chips and thats it. I appreciate the honesty.

What’s your favorite Indonesian local brand(s)?
Actually there are plenty, but I have an utter respect for Elhaus and Dominate. They make dope stuffs and still in it for the culture.

Do you have a second account on your social media? If yes, what’s the use?
Hmm… apparently yes. Strictly for shopping/ screen shopping (digital version of window shopping), but I don’t use it a lot.

5. Bam Mastro
Musician & Vocalist of Elephant Kind

What are you doing lately?
I just played at We The Fest 2018, it was awesome and I’ve been working on Elephant Kind’s new album

Who’s your all-time favorite Indonesian IG account(s) and why?
To be completely honest with you, I’ve spent the last 15 mins looking for one. I don’t think I have the answer but I recently met this girl during a magazine interview @cindercella I followed her on Instagram. She’s hilarious. I like to keep things light on the internet, I like to keep it fun and informative. No gimmicks.

What’s your favorite place(s)?
I love my studio, it’s super quite. It’s loud out there in Jakarta. I love being on stage, anywhere in Indonesia, mostly, Bandung, Jakarta, Malang, Surabaya, Semarang, Medan dan Bali, kids go nuts when they see me.

What’s your favorite Indonesian local brand(s)?
Definitly UNKL 347. They’re fucking legends. Been around for over 20 years and still going strong. The four guys who are running it, they’re like the coolest group of dudes in Indonesia. Not a fan of some of their writings, but way before all these brands that you see on Hypebeast are trending, UNKL has done it. I’d be more than happy to be their creative director. Can’t think of anything else other than Indomie for the second one. We all know the reasons why.

Do you have a second account on your social media? If yes, what’s the use?
No. Well, maybe.
