The Live In Levi’s® Premiere was a celebration of all things Levi’s® that took Kuala Lumpur by storm. The Premiere was held on September 9th to 14th at Suria Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, just below the PETRONAS Twin Towers, the iconic location that fit for an iconic name. Through this event, visitors could learn more about the iconic apparel that spearheaded denim fashion and see how the brand plays a role in the lives of Malaysia’s best and brightest. They were also given a rare chance to customise their new Levi’s® apparel with special patches designed by tattoo artist Lynda Chean and visualizer ART:TECH, as well as personalised embroidery.
Limited edition ladies’ trucker jackets customised by designer Hatta Dolmat, as well as eco-friendly furniture from sustainability specialists Biji-Biji, were also on sale to benefit the National Autism Society of Malaysia. Multiple fashion showcases were held to inspire Malaysia on how it could Live In Levi’s®, every day. And there was no greater icon to kick off the Premiere than Malaysia’s Queen of Jazz, Sheila Majid, who gave a special performance while wearing a customised skirt of her own, made from her vintage Levi’s® jeans.
