When we watched it for the first time, we get an impression of a smooth song with uncomplicated music video. Nevertheless, at the same time it brings a lot of interpretations and various meanings for the viewers. The gentle and melodious song is well-composed with a sense of tranquility when you listen to it. Meanwhile, the music video displays a vintage and warm sepia tone and anachronic storyline with several flashback scenes.
It is set to be in the current timeframe and Indonesia’s Orde Baru to Reformasi transition period. The story is basically about Danilla’s character who’s visiting the house of the Tigapagi’s Prima character who was being abducted after dealing with two college activists who supported Reformasi.
The rest is filled with long stares, mindful thoughts, and a couple of letters who ignite the viewers’ imaginations about what exactly happened, what is the relation between Danilla’s character and Prima’s, and all the questions that emerge. The song is the first and long-awaited collaboration between vocalist Danilla Riyadi and Tigapagi.
