As you might have read before, the capital of West Java province in Indonesia and the country’s third largest city by population, Bandung once again presents a premium brand with high quality leather products under the name of Winson. The newcomer which was established in middle of 2014 recently was being presented under a superior leather based product dubbed as “Inception”. Now just weeks after the first review, we got our hands both of their leather footwear products, the Inception boots and Precious dress shoe.
When they contacted and told us to review all of their products, we were not quite sure about what we are going to get. But when the time comes, we are quite happy with the quality of their package as well as their products. Both of the Winson products are available with dark forest green box and gold ink. Inside of it, you will find their shoes wrapped within a black drawstring bag making it clean and away from the dust. Underneath the bag you will find warranty card which is valid for one year only and certificate of authenticity.
The dress shoe known as Precious comes with a nice burgundy calfskin leather and outstanding features such as lamb skin lining, leather insole, leather outsole, closed channel stitching, goodyear welted construction with storm welt and hand brush off finishing, and features Belden last. And if you would like to have your own, we suggest to go down one size when you pick up you shoe. It is available now online with retail price of IDR 1.650.000. While for the Inception, the boots come with quite similar specification, such as using burgundy calfskin leather as main material, lamb skin for lining, leather insole, leather outsole, closed channel stitching, goodyear welted construction with storm welt and under hand stitching, and features Edlyn last. Overall both of the shoe from Winson are great. The footwear label did their job properly, from producing the goods to the package. We also would like to give a shout to their costumer service which is very helpful when when we need extra information about the shoes. The story began in the middle of 2014 after a young man became a shoe retailer in Bandung. He got many orders that made him notice some flaws on their product. Some costumers complained to him, and it had encouraged him to repay the loss. Then, the young man began to take notice and learn how to assemble a proper shoes on the internet and started making his own shoes, design and assembled in Cibaduyut, Bandung. Unfortunately, it was not an easy task. He could not find any craftsman who had an appropriate standard of shoes assembly. After struggling with countless traffic jam with the crowds from outside of town, he finally found a vendor that met his high quality standard. After a long conversation and few meetings, the vendor finally decided to build partnership with him to work on the shoes.
