Our media friend and television network over at QUBtv is happy to announce that all episodes of The Inventives “State of the Art” series are online now. The Jakarta based group has the new series with feature artists who, through their works, have challenged them to look closer at social issues, at other people and their emotions, at the environment that surround them, and everyday objects and life forms around them. The featured artists are Indieguerillas, a duo best known for their interest in folklores, are also recognized for their proficiency at visual effects and inter-media experimentation in their works. Then The Yellow Dino, an imaginary wonderland of Bandung based artist Yudi Andhika, who is falling in love with contemporary character design and graffiti. Last but not least is Tromarama, a trio with interest in contemporary urban culture, inserting their work beyond the art scene into the larger cultural fabric of the city of Bandung.
